EVOQUE
Working as Content Strategist at Foxtrot Papa in 2018, we were tasked by Land Rover to create a launch film for the New Range Rover Evoque, its fastest selling model. We needed to create a piece of content that was short, sharp, memorable and energetic.
Our brief was to produce a film in a very snackable and shareable format – the client wanted the creative to complement the New Range Rover Evoque’s broader ‘Live for the City and Beyond’ positioning. The film was due to be played at the live launch at the Truman Brewery, London just 4 weeks from the initial brief.
So, I wrote a snappy, rhythmic script that used simple but current vocabulary to explain complex technical features. The words were then matched to an Instagram-inspired visual template that was almost unrecognisable from the Land Rover corporate guidelines. Dynamic typography, matched with vibrant background colours, lifestyle imagery and stunning music and sound design completed the piece.
